Overcoming Anxiety - A Special 4 Week Course
Kariong Neighbourhood Centre • Monday Evenings • February 3rd - 24th

Anxiety and stress are common problems for many people these days. Meditation is an effective way to combat such negative states, and create a sense of mental freedom.

On this course, learn how to identify and remove the causes of anxiety and worry, and enjoy a more peaceful, balanced and happy life. These drop-in classes are suitable for anyone from complete beginners to those with many years of experience.

The course will be taught by Buddhist meditation teacher Natasha Mitchell, who explains things in a down-to-earth and caring manner.

Mindfulness & the Art of Positive Thinking - Drop In Classes
Woy Woy • Charmhaven • Bateau Bay • Wamberal • 7-8.30pm

Mindfulness is the art of bringing positive states of mind into the present moment. When we learn how to do this, all our daily activities become deeply satisfying and meaningful. By living in the present, we free ourselves from the mental burden of our worries and over-scheduled lives.

Regardless of whether we are new to meditation or more experienced, this course will help to deepen our practice of meditation and integrate it with our normal daily life. With western Buddhist monk Kelsang Dawa.

Love Without Pain - Half Day Course in Lake Munmorah
Lake Munmorah Hall, Colongra Bay Road • Sat Feb 15th • 2pm-5pm

"Love is the great protector"
We love each other, yet we are not always happy together. Many of our relationships suffer from misunderstanding and unrealistic expectations. On this afternoon course, learn methods to recognise when our love for others is becoming conditional, and how to remove such limitations. In this way, we can improve our relationships with family, friends and others.

With Australian Buddhist monk Kelsang Thubchen. Thubchen has a joyful delivery and explains Buddha's teachings in a clear and practical manner. To book click here.
