Warm Greetings! As winter begins to fade and spring starts to tease us, we reflect on how grateful we are for the enriching experience that art, and our connection to the talented people who create it, brings to our lives. Your support of artists and the arts makes our world more beautiful, fascinating, inspiring, and fun. We love sharing our news with you through this newsletter!
We and our entire family of artists thank you for your curiosity and business throughout the year. It is a joy welcoming each of you to the gallery, and we look forward to your next visit.
GREAT NEW PIECES FROM M.T. McCLANAHAN.... Marcus (M.T.) Mc Clanahan has brought us vibrant, fresh and beautiful new paintings of the beach and boats, some of his favorite subjects.
The artist works in both oils and acrylics on stretched canvas and primed masonite board. He paints primarily in his modest, one-room studio in Greenville, NC, but often works on location to continuously train his “eye” to see and translate the variety in nature.
McClanahan’s current work focuses on large-scale, intimate views of lone skiffs, Adirondack chairs and architectural elements. He says of art…”A painting works when it belongs, is not contrived. It should have a presence that is as natural as you or I. The artist’s empathy, especially, dictates this new personality.”

CHARMING NEW ANIMALS FROM KEVIN LE PRINCE...... Few people can walk past one of Kevin LePrince's paintings without a smile! His birds, frogs and other creatures invite the viewer to interact and enjoy their antics.
Growing up in Charleston, LePrince is very familiar with the habits and personalities of the local wildlife, and tries to give each painting a sense of individual character. His love of the low country, in combination with his keen observation and playful individuality, help him reinvent the natural local scenes.
