Hey all beer freaks, Just wanted to write and say thanks. That Hopslam pre sell went great. I might just start pre selling everything to just you guys. It is always nice to get in 15 cases of a 50 dollar beer and run right through it. Just let my dad know that everything I am doing is always right. Ok maybe not always, but sometimes I do good. And just so some of you know, I am getting in 6 more cases of Hopslam today. I am slowly taking down my distributors pile on my own. Ok, lets talk about why I am emailing you all this lovely morning. Flat Earth is releasing yet another beer in bottles, and IT IS COMING TO THE STORE TODAY!!!! Or at least it should be. To go along with the Belgium Pale and the element 115, we now can drink Cygnus X-1 Porter out of a 22 ounce bomber. Here is the info on the sell sheet I got on it "This beer is dark brown with subtle hints of crimson and a tan head. It has a chocolate & roast malt aroma. The beer has a wonderful chocolate flavor with a slightly dry finish. " To boot, it is 6.5% alcohol. Not to in your face, but certainly enough to warm you up this weekend. I am getting in 2 cases of that along with 2 more cases each of the BPA and 115. Now I am pretty sure I will have access to this frequently, but you never know when stock runs out. So you now know it will be here for the weekend.
There is another beer that will be making an appearance today that you should take note of. This one I am going to pre sell. Remember that J.W. Lees barleywine aged in Lagavulin casks from a few months back? Well, I now was able to get my hands on J.W. Lees Barleywine that has been aged in a Calvados Cask. What is Calvados you ask? In essence, it is an apple cognac. Much like the Lagavulin one, I don't think I will even put this on the shelf. So I am going to offer it up to you guys. If it hits the shelf it will be $9.99 a 11 ounce bottle. For anyone on this list interested, you can have it for $8.99. This is another perfect bottle for aging. Email me at bill@princetonsliquors.com or info@princetonsliquors.com if you are interested. That should do it for this email. Don't forget that Bell's is still beer of the month for January at our Maple Grove location. Buy 2 select six packs for just $13.99. That is a heck of a deal. I will be emailing all of you in a few weeks to talk about the next beer of the month. I actually already have it set up and have a tasting set up on Friday February 15th. But I will wait to talk about that. Thanks again for caring about great beer, Bill |
