Hello again from Sandbox Threads
I'm not sure if this is the case where you live, but it's HOT in North Carolina. So hot, it's miserable to even go outside for a few minutes, and that means that our options to entertain our two year old are limited.
Of course, we could take him to the museum or a kid's play place, but with the high gas prices on top of the entrance fees, an hour long outing ends up costing an arm and part of a leg.
And while school is just around the corner (well Dad's Day Out for us), it has not started yet, but we're busy getting ready for back to school activities and shopping.

For the Equipment Crazy Kid I'm not sure how this happened (I believe it's just part of being a little boy), but our son is equipment crazy. We didn't push him toward the big machines. He gravitated there all by himself, and now any car ride involves him loudly pointing out every digger, bulldozer, tractor, and duck bill (his odd take on dump truck). So when Sandbox Threads received our new equipment designs, Ben nearly pitched a fit because he wanted to play with, inspect, and keep all of them for himself. We were able to pry them away, and now if you have an equipment crazy kid, we just might be able to help. |

The Twins Gift Set That Doesn't Have to Be

Finally, we've found that cold watermelon and a garden hose makes for a great, cool, and relatively cheap hot afternoon activity, so I'm off to go play, but thank you again for a great month at Sandbox Threads.
