Not only is this a great way for us to learn more about how you work with our software, but you can share your experiences with new and potential customers. Hey, it's also a decent way to get a little press coverage.

Our author will arrange a day and time that works for you during which time she will conduct a phone interview. You will be given a draft of the article for approval and modifications before we release it to the public.

We've got a very special announcement. From now through August, 31, 2008, we proudly introduce the brand new Orange Loft Affiliate Program! Now you can earn cash when you tell friends, clients and colleagues about ArchiOffice or EngineerOffice. Whether you're an Architect or an Engineer, if you know others in the profession with whom you can share your enthusiasm about our software, we're encouraging you to spread the word. The more firms using our software, the better we all become as more and more firms tell us what tools they need.

TWO TIERED SYSTEM:
The Orange Loft Affiliate Program pays you $50 after a customer you've recommended has made a purchase of ArchiOffice or EngineerOffice software. But that's not all. In addition, we'll pay you 2% of the fees paid by your referral for all the licenses of ArchiOffice or EngineerOffice they purchase!

HOW DO YOU PROMOTE ORANGE LOFT?
When you tell a friend, client or colleage about Orange Loft, tell them to mention your name when they contact our sales personnel. You will also need to email us with their contact info. This way we can make sure you receive credit, even if your referal forgets to mention your name.

To make your job even easier, we've written a sample email for you to work from. 

GET STARTED TODAY!
After you've contacted your referrals, please send their contact info to referrals@orangeloft.com. We'll need their name, company name, phone number and (if possible), their email address.

EARNINGS EXAMPLES:
Let's say 1 company you refer purchases 5 licenses of ArchiOffice. You'll receive $50 for the referral and an additional $49.50 for the ArchiOffice licenses (5 x $495 x 2%). That's a total of $99.50.

Perhaps one of your referrals purchases 20 licenses of ArchiOffice and receives the standard 10% volume discount. You'll receive $50 for the referral and an additional $178.20 for the ArchiOffice licenses (20 x $445.50 x 2%). That's a total of $228.20.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE
If one of your referrals was already provided to us by someone else using the Affiliate Program, they will be given the credit. In such cases, we will notify you if your referral has already been received.


TECHNICAL TIPS

MAKING CHANGES TO A MASS OF RECORDS
How many times have you wished there was an easy way to take a group of time or expense records and change the Phase or Job Code for all of them instead of having to open each one individually and change it? Well, with version 8.7, this is now possilble.

First find the list of records you want to change. In the LIST view you will now see the new UPDATE pulldown menu. Select it and you will see the following choices: Phase/Code, Bill, Unbill, Approve, Unapprove, Bill Rate, Cost Rate and Charge Status.

For example, if you have a list of slips for time spent in Design Development and you want to move the found set of slips to Contract Documents, simply select the Update:Phase/Code menu item, enter the new Phase and/or Job Code and it will apply the change to these slips.

DELETE ALL RECORDS
Have you ever wished you could take a group of records and delete them all in one move? You can now do this in both the Time/Expense module as well as the Contacts module. Find the records you want to delete and select the Records>Delete All menu item. Two things to keep in mind, this requires the user to have the privilege to delete records and once you delete a record it can't be recovered. So do this with care.
