She was a co-founding member of Sweetwater Alliance, a direct action organization formed to challenge the mining of Michigan groundwater by Nestle Corporation. She worked on, and also appears in, the award winning documentary FLOW, currently in theaters nationwide.

In this week's Editorial entitled "Should We Gary Wilson 150.jpg Share our Wealth of Water," Gary Wilson discusses the 17 of 11,691 words in the Great Lakes Compact dealing with humanitarian water usage.
