Flow to Sundance Cinemas
The River Alliance, in cooperation with Sundance Cinemas and Oscilloscope Pictures, will host a screening of the critically acclaimed new documentary, Flow: For the Love of Water, at 7:10pm on Friday October 10, 2008.
Tickets for the fundraising event are $30, and include admission to the
screening, a Q&A featuring Wisconsin state senator Mark Miller and
Natalie Lloyd from Food & Water Watch, and a post-screening reception. Proceeds from the event support the River Alliance’s work to save Wisconsin’s flowing waters.
Flock to Maiden Rock October 11
Glorious fall colors on the Mississippi Bluffs should greet us on Saturday, October 11. Join us for an easy hike through Maiden Rock Bluff State Natural Area, see the prairie and oak savannah restoration at this "legendary" site, and catch spectacular views across the Mississippi during peak fall colors.

Wetlands Friends Meet October 16
On October 16, wetland enthusiasts from around Wisconsin will gather to recognize individuals and groups whose work advances the protection, restoration, and enjoyment of Wisconsin’s wetlands at the 2008 Annual Membership Meeting and Wetlands Awards Ceremony of the Wisconsin Wetlands Association.
