HEALTHCARE
SPOTLIGHT

Economical Stress Relief – Massage Qualifies for HSA Use

According to Health Insurance off the Grid by Daryl Kulak, massage therapy qualifies as a health expense payable with Health Savings Account (HSA) funds.  These are savings accounts for pretax money, an option available to those with high-deductible, “catastrophic” health insurance policies.  The untaxed money in your Health Savings Account can be used for massage therapy, herbs and vitamins, meditation, yoga and tai chi classes, personal training, gym memberships, books, tapes, internet subscriptions about health, etc…

At Fine Art Massage, we are happy to provide you with detailed receipts for therapeutic massage services so you can be reimbursed with pre-tax dollars, saving you 25 to 30% or more depending on your tax bracket.
