4TH OF JULY FUN EVENT: THE FLAG 2009 Thursday, July 2 * 5:00p
The Flag 2009 is a patriotic salute to America sponsored by Calvary Temple Church. With a cast & choir of over 150 people, this free event is a family-oriented celebration of our country and its people. Through music, dance and drama, our show includes encore audience favorites, movie and TV spoofs, a celebration of our faith, and a salute to the military. The evening culminates in a fantastic aerial fireworks show.
National recording artist, Tony LeBron returns as our guest soloist this year along with Bay Area favorite radio voice, Brian Rhea.

MOVIE FUN EVENT - ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS Friday, July 3 * 10:00a (Movie time is still tentative)
You're invited to catch the new movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, with your friends from Edgewater on Friday, July 3.
Movie Synopsis: After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently.
This will be a great way to have fun and connect with people from Edgewater! And, after the movie we'll grab something to eat.
Where: Brenden Pittsburg 16 (4085 Century Blvd, Pittsburg).
When: Friday, July 3, at 10:00a. We will meet inside the theater doors so we can sit together.

YOUTH NITE Saturday, July 18 * 7:00pm
Youth Nite is Edgewater's monthly gathering especially designed for our teenagers. This includes all young adults, beginning with 6th graders through and including High School Seniors. Make new friends and learn about God. There will be snacks, praise songs, games, and a Bible study. Meet at the home of Gretchen Taylor (298 Rangewood Drive in Pittsburg) at 7pm. SUMMER CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUP Tuesdays * 10:00am
Do you have young children? Are you looking for a way to connect with other families in our church? If so, you are invited to join a Summer Playgroup for Edgewater. We will meet each Tuesday at 10 am in different parks or homes to give the kids a chance to play together and the moms and/or dads a chance to hang out. Kids of any age are welcome to come (Parent participation is required!!)
