Fatigue Management - Reporting
Developing a fatigue management plan without truly understanding the prevalence of fatigue within your business is like fighting a war without really knowing your enemy. The difficulty with fatigue is that there's no one-size-fits-all solution for effectively managing it. Each company, or industry, is going to find that their risks and pressures are different, and therefore require different management techniques.
That's where Optalert Reports can help by providing a management tool to fully understand the extent of your fatigue risk, and to measure the successes of your mitigation strategies.
The Optalert system records data relating to the user, the vehicle, the time and the location. Optalert Reports analyses this data and provides detailed reports on various fatigue risks (all of which can be tailored to suit your specific requirements).
For example, recently an Optalert client made significant changes to some of their rosters. Optalert was able to compare reports from before the change, to those received afterwards and highlight the impacts the change had on the client's fatigue risk.
Some of the questions Optalert Reports can help you answer:
- Which are our most risky locations?
- What are our most risky time frames?
- When should we make it compulsory for staff to wear Optalert?
- What impact has a recent change had on our fatigue risk?
- Which staff are at risk of a fatigue accident?
