S P O T L I G H T::..

Farmers have created so many types of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares that almost everyone can find one they like.

Do you like surprises?  Then a box (farmer- selected) share might be right for you.  People comment that it's "like Christmas" to open up their share, and they have fun deciding what to make with each week's vegetables and other foods.
Do you prefer more control over what foods you get each week?  Then a farmstand (debit) share, or a combination share, would be better.
A common feature of CSAs is that the customer prepays (amounts vary widely)  for a share of the season's harvest.  Each farm does it differently, so check for details below:

2.8.11 | Seasons Dinner, Sharon, VT

A celebration of local food and Valley Food & Farm’s annual fundraising dinner, Seasons will be held on Tuesday, February 8th at 6:30pm at the Inn at Idlewood in Sharon. Cost is $150 per person (of which $100 is a tax-deductible contribution to Vital Communities). Chef Brendon Suhesky will create an original winter menu for our guests.  See our website for more information or to make reservations.
