As time went by, it became very clear to Sofia that these programs are in high demand as there are not many resources out there for Deaf Women.  Programs such as Amazing Women, GDW Networking Events, GDW Retreats, and more to come inspire many women to go beyond what they thought they could do. Due to growing demands, GDW is growing their team so they can meet your needs.  Stay tuned in the upcoming eNews for more exciting announcements.

Last month, we launched three levels of annual membership at GDW Booth at DeafNation World Expo in Las Vegas.  The three membership levels are Classic, Exclusive, and Diamond. GDW Roots grew 30 more new members with diverse background, skills, and experiences.  We are thrilled to have them aboard... you can join as a member as well!

As you know we, women, enjoy listening to fascinating stories, finding networks, resources and careers for future opportunities, or just mingling with women. Our Women's Network this past June with the  theme, "The Power of Gratitude", we discussed about how thankful we were in different areas in life.  The cool fact about this event is that it was hosted in several cities such as New York City, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Austin, TX and Riverside, CA with their local flavors. The next networking event is called "Doing What You Love". It premiers on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in multiple cities. Be there or be guilty!
