friend to a one-of-a-kind bed race in support of a good cause and a chance to test the open water
and hone your swimming skills - there is always something happening at Camana Bay.

Did you know: Planning your visit to Camana Bay just got even easier! In addition to arriving by bike, car, boat
and helicopter – you can now reach Camana Bay by bus. Bus Route 6 departs George Town Bus Depot, passing by
Camana Bay and stopping at Forum Lane on Esterly Tibbetts Hwy on route to West Bay, and then again back in to
George Town. Bus Route 6 leaves GT Bus Depot daily at: 7am, 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm and 5pm.

Floetry

  

Get into the flow with Floetry for another special night of words and wisdom,
poetry and people. Join some of Cayman's most talented poets and
performers who share their work during an open mic night of poetry
and readings. Share your own work or come listen to others. It's
the perfect place to express yourself! Floetry takes place
on the third Wednesday of the month at 7pm.

Michael Connors
Book Signing

Join Michael Connors for a Cuban fiesta celebrating the release of his
latest book, The Splendor of Cuba: 450 Years of Architecture and Interiors.
Enjoy a visual tour of stunning and architecturally significant Cuban palacios,
mansions and private homes. Afterwards, purchase a copy of the book, have
it signed by the author and enjoy a complimentary mojito and bocaditos.

Story & Craft Time
with Diana Ward

Join local children’s author Diana Ward for a special Story & Craft
Time presentation of her picture book, Marlee & the Diamond Earring.
Help Marlee and her friends search for the missing earring, get
creative with a canine craft, and enjoy a special visit from
Marlee, the real Caymanian rescue dog!

Camana Bay Aquatic Club
Open Water Series

Join CBAC for the first in a three-part series of family-friendly open
water events. This event is open to swimmers of all ages and abilities
and is a great way to learn a vital life skill, get wet and have fun! Little
ones will enjoy a 200m Lollipop Dash, designed for swimmers 10 and
under who are new to open water swimming. There will also be a 400m
Sea Swim and a 400m Water Walk for all to enjoy. Registration is
CI$30 for a Series Package, CI$90 for a Family Package or CI$15
per individual race and can be made on the day at the event, online
at caymanactive.com or at The Discovery Centre in the Town Centre.

Bed Race for Polio

Don your pyjamas for a great cause! Rotary in the Cayman Islands is
hosting a Bed Race to Eradicate Polio. Spectators are invited to cheer on participants in Rotary in the Cayman Islands' Bed Race to Eradicate Polio. Enjoy a pre-race parade, award ceremony, including prizes for Best
Dressed Bed  and The Broken Spring Award, and a host of exciting
races down Market Street. Net proceeds will benefit Rotary
International’s Polio Eradication programme “PolioPlus”.

Cultural Workshop

Basic Cartooning with Lady Rabia
Children ages 8-12 are invited to join local artist Lady Rabia and learn
fun, easy ways to draw cartoons using simple shapes.
Following the
workshop, kids can join Lady Rabia at Books & Books for a special
signing of her Kaa Kaa & Tokyo books.
This is a free event and
spaces are limited so registration is recommended.

Genuine Cooking Classes at Bon Vivant
On Thursday 16 February, executive chef Thomas Tennant of Michael's
Genuine Food & Drink will teach the first in a series of interactive cooking
classes at Bon Vivant. Using recipes from chef/owner Michael Schwartz's new
cookbook, MICHAEL'S GENUINE FOOD: Down-to-Earth Cooking for People
Who Love to Eat
, students at the inaugural class will learn to make homemade
ricotta cheese from scratch and explore its savory and sweet applications.
Classes run from 6:30 to 8:30pm every third Thursday of the
month and include dinner and wine from Blackbeard's.
