K-12 Schools Cut Scheduling Time 99%

K12Classroom 3

Jim Urbanski, Energy Manager at Wicomico County Public Schools in Maryland, has implemented Events2HVAC to autmatically control HVAC in 160 rooms across 24 schools, and he is not done yet! Urbanski is so pleased with the software and the fact that it has cut his HVAC scheduling time 99%, that he plans to expand his use of Events2HVAC as soon as building retrofits make more rooms compatible.

We are featuring three articles about this first K-12 implementation of Events2HVAC on our blog. Read the one that interests you the most or read all three:

With an impressive return on investment and a minimum license of just 10 rooms, even small office buildings can now benefit from the energy and labor savings of event automation.

We are currently seeking facilities that are interested in beta testing the new Microsoft Exchange and Office365 interface for Events2HVAC. Beta testers receive special benefits including using the software for free during the beta test period and a significant discount if an Events2HVAC license is purchased. If you are interested in this beta test opportunity, please contact sales@events2hvac.com.

Windows Software End-of-Life

Events2HVAC is currently compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) and above for client installations and Windows Server 2003 R2 and above for server installations. However, Microsoft support is ending for two of these systems as indicated below:
  • Windows XP support ended 8/14/2014
  • Windows Server 2013 support will end 7/15/2015
We recommend that Events2HVAC users upgrade now to Windows 7 or above for computers hosting the E2H client, and to Windows Server 2008 R2 or above for Events2HVAC.
